At Strengthening your Health, Naturally we will sit together to discuss your medical condition. I will make an informed diagnosis by taking a comprehensive history of your health, performing appropriate physical examinations and by prescribing the required laboratory testing.
Physical examinations that I may perform include blood pressure, listening to the heart and/or lungs, looking in the ears and mouth and performing abdominal and/or muscular skeletal exams. Iridology is also a diagnostic technique performed by Naturopaths. Iridology is an examination of the iris. This diagnostic technique may enable us to determine which treatments may work better for you.
Following my diagnosis, I may prescribe herbal, nutritional, homoeopathic and/or flower essence remedies, or make up a medicated cream for skin or circulatory disorders. Remedies are tailor made to you, your specific condition and financial ability. Therefore if there is a particular preference to liquid, tablet or powdered form of medicines, I will do my upmost to meet your requests.
To ensure a thoroughly informed diagnostic assessment is performed, it is important to be aware of all of your medications (prescribed, over the counter, herbal and nutritional preparations) you may have self prescribed or have been prescribed by another health care professional). This is as certain medicines may interact with natural remedies. |
